We are seeking a talented and purpose-driven Videographer/Photographer to join our creative team and help us tell the story of A4H Skills Lab. This role focuses on capturing impactful visual content that showcases student journeys, hands-on learning, and program successes. From student testimonials to media days and promotional campaigns, your work will directly support social media growth, brand awareness, and community engagement across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.

Hourly rate: $7300 gross salary - applicable tax deductions, 12 week contract

Job Requirements:

Location: Greater Toronto Area - Waterloo Area (on-site and remote work)
Commitment: 2-3 media days per month  + editing; Between May 12 - August 1

Job Responsibilities:

  • Capture dynamic and compelling photo/video content during Skills Lab media days, workshops, and special events
  • Conduct and film student testimonials, instructor interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage to highlight program impact
  • Produce short-form videos (30–60 seconds) for social platforms, and long-form content (2–5 minutes) for YouTube or LinkedIn
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop content that aligns with campaign goals and A4H’s messaging
  • Deliver polished and engaging video/photo assets on deadline to support ongoing promotional campaigns
  • Support one-off projects and promotional shoots throughout the season
  • Stay up to date on video content trends and apply best practices to maximize engagement and reach

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in videography, photography, or digital media production

  • Strong portfolio showcasing both short- and long-form content

  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop/Lightroom

  • Experience filming testimonials, branded content, and educational programming is a strong asset

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality assets independently

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must have access to personal equipment (camera, lighting, editing software) and reliable transportation for on-site shoots in the GTA
